Southbay Sportsplex is proud to be the new home of the East End United Soccer Academy which will be holding its opening tryouts for our US CLUB Teams based out of Southbay. US Club Soccer is a non-profit organization whose mission is to develop competitive club soccer in the United States. A member of the U.S. Soccer Federation (USSF) since July 2001, US Club Soccer has grown to include member clubs and leagues in 50 states. US Club Soccer is a National Association member of the USSF.
East End United Staff will include Accomplished and Licensed Trainers and Coaches who will create a highly competitive training environment where the elite player can challenge his abilities and take his game to the national stage, competing in various high-level tournaments throughout the year. Not only will this be a chance for the elite player to get additional exposure and top notch training, but, it will allow the best players to come together and train alongside other high caliber players. Creating this competitive cauldron is one of the best ways to develop talent. This unique program enables us to bridge the gap between all of Suffolk County at a central, neutral location. It allows the East End’s most talented the opportunity to come together and train and compete with like talent, like never before. Finally, we can level the playing ground between the densely populated West End (Nassau, Queens) of the Island that has for so long been unchallenged. We have found that on the East End particularly, players of high caliber are often not granted the opportunity to train with like talent due to far travel distances and lengthy drive times from more competitive arenas. As a result, these elite players often end up short-changing their growth and development, especially in their earlier teens. Add this to an accomplished staff and Long Island’s East End talent will now be united, all while allowing the individual players to stay true to their local, hometown clubs that still need their abilities and numbers. Basically, talent on the East End is consistently spread so thin over geographically isolated clubs, that it makes finding competition for the elite player nearly impossible. US CLUB Soccer at Southbay can now be our answer to this dilemma.
All of this will be possible through the flexibility provided by US CLUB SOCCER. Players registered on a US CLUB SOUTHBAY team can be dual-carded, meaning that being a member of a US Club team at Southbay can still play on whatever travel team that this player is already committed to and without interfering with a player's current travel team in their respective club. The basic curriculum will include 3-5 tournaments which will be selected to fit best with each team's individual player schedules’ as to not interfere with each child's current travel team's tournament plans. In the future we hope to hold our own US CLUB sanctioned events and participate in US CLUB LEAGUES. Again, this is an unrivaled opportunity for the elite level East End soccer player so don’t miss out on our upcoming OPEN tryout dates in late June at our new home, SOUTHBAY SPORTSPLEX—where East End Soccer can finally make a name for itself.

Southbay Sportsplex will be offereing two Youth Winter Indoor Soccer League Sessions next WINTER Featuring… The largest indoor field on Long Island inside our state of the art, climate controlled facility.
*Ages U8-U10 play 7v7 on our 135’x 70’ turf field (max. roster-14)
*Ages U11 play 9 v 9 on our 211’x 135’ (max. roster -18)
*Ages U12-U14 play 11v11 on our 211’x 135’ (max. roster -18)
*Ages U15 and up play 9 v 9 on our 211’x 135’ (max. roster -18)
*(8) 50-min. games
*Season runs on Saturdays and Sundays January 9th-March 14th
Games will be played 7am-3pm. Exact times will be confirmed once registration is complete.

Men's Spring Indoor Soccer League Highlights
-9 v 9 (8 and a goalie)
-2 x 25 min halves (Running time)
-8 games guaranteed plus playoffs (1 or 2 rounds)
-Games played between 7pm and 11:30pm on weekdays(usually Fridays)
